We took this photo in Batumi, our last Georgian destination.
Batumi, a city where Stalin used to live 16 years prior the Russian Revolution, hasn’t lost its old grandeur. It’s still Georgia’s summer capital, probably partly due to its semitropical coast, and partly because of its charming fin-de-siècle architecture.
In Batumi we were hosted by our Turkish driver who drove us all the way from the mountains in the north of the country and let us stay in his apartment.
Good times, walking on the beach (trying to find bass music :-) ) and admiring gorgeous sunsets…
